Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Nursing Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role leads nursing staff and ensures high-quality care for brain, spinal, neurological, and orthopedic patients using EPIC for documentation. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and prior nursing leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
