Job summary

A leading rehabilitation hospital in Madison seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and provide exceptional care for patients. The position includes full-time daytime shifts and requires a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS within the first 6 months. You will manage nursing personnel, maintain patient care standards, and support the overall mission of exceptional patient care. Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and serve as a resource person.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implementing hospital standards.
• Collaborate for continuity of care under the Chief Nursing Officer.

Position: Nursing Supervisor - Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Housed inside Select Specialty Hospital - Madison

Schedule: Full-Time Day shift 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM – Three 12-hour shifts and an every other weekend rotation

You will direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant. Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• CRRN preferred.
