UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital North in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Nursing Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, day shift. This role reports to the Nursing leadership and will direct the nursing team to provide exceptional inpatient rehabilitation care.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• CRRN preferred

Responsabilités

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and serve as a resource and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care and maintain approved standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Assist patients to achieve goals on the care plan and document care in EPIC.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and counsel patients and families.

Responsibilities

You will direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
