Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital North in Jacksonville, FL, affiliated with Select Medical, seeks a Nursing Supervisor – RN for the night shift. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and leadership responsibilities directing nursing staff to deliver high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care.

You will manage care plans, ensure accurate documentation in EPIC, and mentor staff while advancing clinical excellence within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing personnel and act as a resource and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care while upholding hospital philosophy and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with hospital staff for continuity of care under the Chief Nursing Officer guidance.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and data entry.
• Interpret lab results, telemetry data, and other diagnostic information.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

You will direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
