Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel as a resource and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care aligned with hospital objectives.
• Maintain approved patient-care standards and coordinate with care teams.
• Support patient care milestones per individual plans.
• Document timely and accurately using EPIC.
• Interpret labs and telemetry data to guide care.
• Ensure orders are transcribed and processed correctly.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
