Job summary

University of North Florida seeks a Nursing Student Success Coach to lead NCLEX-RN prep and identify at-risk students for targeted remediation in collaboration with SON leadership and faculty.

The role focuses on on-campus academic coaching, monitoring progress, developing remediation plans, coordinating workshops and tutoring, and supporting student retention through data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Active and unencumbered RN or APRN License in FL.
• On-campus work required for 20 hours per week at UNF and at Simulation Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic coaching and support to nursing students.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes student engagement and well-being.
• Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and support services to ensure comprehensive academic support.
• Identify students at risk at course and program levels and design remediation plans with faculty.
• Track academic progression and maintain records of at-risk students.
• Coordinate NCLEX-RN preparation strategies, including workshops and practice exams.
• Develop and coordinate tutoring, workshops, and peer mentoring for student success.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance curriculum and support services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of SON and BCH leadership.
