The role requires a master's degree in nursing, education, or administration, active RN licensure, and at least two years of clinical or educational experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing, education or administration.
• Professional nurse licensure required.
• A minimum of two years as a Registered Nurse providing direct patient care or equivalent and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Support students through workshops, remediation sessions, group tutorials and one-on-one meetings to improve course performance.
• Ensure full integration of ATI tools and resources in all student meetings to enhance remediation and concept understanding.
• Create methods of integrating strategies to increase test taking skills, study skills and note taking skills to increase course performance.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify course weaknesses and develop innovative initiatives to address them.
• Identify Students at Risk for persistence issues and develop action plans to address their needs.
• Identify Students at Risk through data tracking platforms and develop interventions to address identified challenges to core course success and persistence.
• Assess the effectiveness of course specific persistence strategies and progress in meeting mutually established objectives with students.
• Participate in professional development and organizations to maintain current ideas, research and practices; attend meetings, workshops and seminars.
