Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.

• Proficiency with PC and mainframe-based system applications.
• Typing and keyboarding skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with hospital personnel.
• Ability to arrange schedules considering multiple criteria and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review nursing department staffing to ensure shifts are filled/covered.
• Arrange coverage cost-effectively while maintaining staffing ratios.
• Use scheduling systems and reports to track and record staff assignments and attendance.
• Update employee information and generate management reports in the resource management system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage payroll activities.
• Communicate with nurse leaders to determine additional staffing needs and intervention.
• Ensure services meet internal and external customer needs.
