Capitol Park Mental Health is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to organize and prepare work schedules for nursing units, based on census and patient acuity, ensuring adequate staffing per shift.

This role collaborates with HR and payroll to resolve payroll issues, tracks absenteeism, and coordinates coverage for time off using automated scheduling tools. Requires HS diploma, scheduling software experience, and MS Word/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with automated scheduling platforms required.
• Experience in healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Microsoft Word and Excel software knowledge and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor census, staffing, admissions and discharges to ensure adequate staff per shift.
• Prepare monthly staffing schedule and communicate issues to staff.
• Amend staffing schedule as needed to provide quality patient care.
• Find coverage for all nursing time-off requests and call-outs.
• Track absenteeism as assigned.
• Coordinate staffing for program transports as needed.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Calculate lateness, Daily FTE and weekend shift reports and distribute to leaders.
