• Organize daily work schedules for nursing staff
• Follow facility guidelines to determine staffing per wing/shift based on census
• Approve/deny PTO for nursing staff
• Maintain a record of all schedules worked
• Communicate shift availability to nursing staff
• Maintain daily attendance records
• Contact staff to schedule coverage
• Will be included in on-call rotation
• Maintain updated telephone list of nursing staff
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect
• Report allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property
• Attend in-services to stay abreast of nursing department changes
