Job summary

The scheduler will support resident care, assist with meals and personal hygiene, monitor vital signs, and document actions in logs and reports, reporting to the nursing supervisor.

Qualifications

• Current QMA/LPN/RN certification per Indiana laws.
• State certification required to practice in Indiana.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and maintain monthly master schedules for clinical staff.
• Maintain resident escort schedules and floor assignments.
• Be on-call 24/7 and handle on-call rotations.
• Ensure charting is completed by medical staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration and personal hygiene.
• Assist with ambulating, turning and positioning residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; document I&O.
• Respond to call lights and report to nursing supervisor.
• Prepare forms, logs and records documenting actions.
• Maintain privacy under HIPAA and comply with laws.
• Adhere to standards and licensure requirements.
• Update knowledge through education and licensure maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
