Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Manchester is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our caring management team, working closely with the DON to staff appropriately, guide scheduling, and maintain smooth operations across units. You will build strong relationships, oversee daily calendars, coordinate nursing schedules, and communicate with staff via phone, email, and text to keep time sheets current.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator/ Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting - desired.
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to handle stress, change, and unexpected occurrences.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning the staff/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems.
• Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms.
• Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets/time schedules are up to date.
• Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
