A Skilled Nursing Home Facility is seeking a dedicated Staff Scheduler to coordinate RN, LPN, and CNA coverage across multiple units in a 24-hour facility.

The ideal candidate will maintain a master schedule, track attendance, and communicate open positions to HR for recruitment, while carefully controlling overtime and bonus costs.

• Strictly manage overtime and bonus costs.

Job description

TheNursing Staff Scheduleris responsible for scheduling staffing including RN and LPN nurses as well as CNA’s for multiple busy nursing units for a 24 hour skilled nursing facility. TheNursing Staff Scheduleris responsible for maintaining relationships with nursing staff to promote an optimal working environment and contribute to staff retention. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to prioritize multiple tasks while remaining organized. TheNursing Staff Schedulerwill be responsible for providing up to date attendance detail for employees, maintaining a master schedule, forwarding open position information to the HR Coordinator for recruitment purposes, maintaining an accurate daily schedule with all edits and updates entered, and strictly managing overtime and bonus costs.

Rate: $23-$25

Minimum Required Qualifications

• One year nursing staff scheduling experience
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining timely completion
• Ability to respond quickly to emails between departments
• Strong persuasion skills
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and perform under stress
• Excellent time management skills
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule based off building's needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year nursing staff scheduling experience in a nursing facility
• CNA Certification
• Medical Records experience
