Job summary

Complete Care in Connecticut is hiring a Nursing Staff Scheduler to create and maintain accurate staff rosters for a long-term care facility. You will track attendance, call-outs, tardiness, and schedule changes to ensure optimal coverage.

Collaborate with HR on leaves (FMLA and non-FMLA), resignations, and staffing status updates, while supporting retention and recruitment efforts. This role requires prior scheduling experience and familiarity with long-term care operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Long Term Care experience is required.
• Previous scheduling experience is required.
• HR Assistant experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain staff schedules.
• Maintain records of call outs, tardiness, and early arrivals.
• Coordinate with HR on FMLA and other leaves, resignations, and status changes.
• Assist with retention and recruitment processes in partnership with HR.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Create and maintain staff schedules

• Maintain communication with HR regarding FMLA, non FMLA leaves, employee resignations, status changes, and other necessary information as it arises.

• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing, and Administrator.
