Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution credentialed to teach in the School of Nursing.
• Three years of collegiate teaching and/or simulation experience.
• Active CT RN licensure.
• Proficiency in operating simulation equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program director and nursing faculty to integrate simulation-based learning into the nursing curriculum.
• Design and develop realistic and scenario-based simulations aligned with objectives and competencies.
• Facilitate and manage simulation sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Operate simulation equipment and technology to create authentic healthcare scenarios.
• Provide guidance and support to learners during simulation activities.
• Train and mentor faculty in simulation-based teaching and learning methodologies.
• Implement assessment tools to measure effectiveness of simulation-based learning experiences.
• Evaluate learner performance during simulations and provide constructive feedback.
• Analyze data to continuously enhance the quality of simulation programs.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and accreditation requirements in simulation education.
