Job summary
George Washington University’s GW Nursing Simulation and Innovation Learning Center in Ashburn, VA, seeks a Dedicated Simulation Educator to lead nursing simulation education for prelicensure and graduate programs, including facilitation, prebriefing, implementing scenarios, and debriefing.
This role ensures adherence to Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice, assists with course design with the Director, coordinates simulations, and supports accreditation and professional development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing; minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years of nursing practice.
- CHSE certification within two years; CHSE/CHSE-A preferred.
- Must have VA RN license and be eligible to practice nursing in VA.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate day-to-day nursing simulation education for prelicensure and graduate programs.
- Prebrief, implement simulation scenarios, and debrief learners.
- Maintain Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice; assist in evaluation for accreditation.
