The ideal candidate will be passionate about nursing education, experienced in simulation instruction, and committed to fostering a safe, innovative, and evidence-based learning environment for students.

The role requires coordinating simulations, integrating EHR into scenarios, and collaborating with faculty to meet course objectives.

Qualificações

• MSN preferred.
• BSN considered if enrolled in MSN and has relevant simulation experience.
• Recent nursing simulation teaching experience required.
• Current certification in simulation instruction or commitment to obtain within three years.
• Current and unencumbered WV RN license or compact license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule all simulation activities across campuses.
• Design, implement, and evaluate simulations based on evidence-based practices.
• Incorporate an electronic health record in simulation scenarios to promote realistic clinical experience.
• Collaborate with faculty to align simulation activities with course objectives.
• Foster a psychologically safe environment for student learning.
• Evaluate student performance in simulation using evidenced-based practices.
• Maintain, operate, and ensure proper care of simulation manikins and lab equipment.
• Order and manage supplies for simulation labs.
