Job summary

International College of Health Sciences seeks a Lab Simulation Clinical Instructor to plan, facilitate, and evaluate nursing lab and simulation experiences that promote student learning and clinical competence. The role ensures a safe learning environment and aligns with the nursing curriculum and program standards.

Responsibilities include facilitating simulations, teaching nursing skills, operating Gaumard systems, and evaluating student performance with established rubrics.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Florida.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with Gaumard high-fidelity simulation equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of simulation technology and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate nursing laboratory and simulation experiences for students.
• Demonstrate and teach nursing skills using simulation equipment and manikins.
• Operate Gaumard simulation systems to deliver realistic scenarios.
• Conduct pre-briefing and debriefing sessions to reinforce clinical judgment.
• Evaluate student performance using competency checklists and rubrics.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and remediation to students.
• Maintain a safe learning environment and proper equipment functioning.
• Document attendance, evaluations, and clinical performance.
