Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing with at least 3 years of professional experience, including 2 years in nursing.
- CHSE certification within two years; CHSE/CHSE-A preferred.
- VA RN license eligible to practice in Virginia.
- Frequent walking and light lifting.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate simulation-based education scenarios for prelicensure and graduate nursing education.
- Conduct prebriefing, implement simulation scenarios and debriefing.
- Maintain Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice and participate in accreditation evaluation.
- Assist in designing simulation scenarios, coordinating courses, and coordinating lab activities.
- Support professional development around simulation pedagogy and manage lab setup/cleanup.
