Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations.

You will help ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance across the facility. Responsibilities include coordinating nursing services with other departments, reporting to the Director, and participating in surveys and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license (RN/LPN) in good standing with the State.
• Must have a valid CPR certification.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, developing, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing service.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Make written and oral reports to the Director as needed.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Support implementation and monitoring of facility policies and forms.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as requested.
• Assist in developing and updating discharge plans for residents.
