Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in good standing with the State.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities with assigned staff.
• Submit written and oral reports about shift activities as required.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain total care.
• Review and update discharge plans and care plans daily.
• Document nursing notes reflecting care provided and resident response.
• Administer professional services as required (e.g., catheterization, dressings).
• Perform routine charting and communicate needs to the Nurse Supervisor.
