Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, Avon location, is seeking a Scheduling Administrator to support the Director of Nursing by planning and directing the nursing service department schedule. This role ensures staffing aligns with policies, rules, and patient care needs.

Responsibilities include creating a four-week master schedule, adjusting staffing, and handling PTO, shift trades, and attendance tracking, while onboarding new staff and providing direct patient care as needed within license scope.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Candidates with CNA, QMA, LPN or RN credential; non-clinical candidates considered with appropriate experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and post the four-week Master set schedule.
• Make staffing adjustments according to budget, census, calls-offs, and pre-planned leave.
• Manage PTO requests, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Post postings such as BIPA, daily assignment sheets, and monthly schedules.
• Manage nursing hours (PPD) and staff ratio to census.
• Oversee Time and Attendance, including attendance points, buy-backs, and shift incentives.
• Utilize Smartlinx functionality to post/fill open shifts and messaging.
• Meet new employees to review their schedule and onboarding needs.
• Provide direct patient care as needed per license/certification.
