Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service schedule. The role ensures coverage in accordance with rules, regulations, and patient service needs.

Responsibilities include creating and posting the master schedule, adjusting staffing per budget and census, and coordinating onboarding for new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant healthcare scheduling/coordination experience preferred.
• Candidates with CNA/QMA/LPN/RN credentials or equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Create a four-week master schedule and publish it per policy.
• Adjust staffing to meet budget, census, and leave needs.
• Coordinate PTOs, holiday rotations, and shift trades.
• Prepare postings such as BIPA and daily/monthly schedules.
• Manage nursing hours and staff ratios to census.
• Oversee Time and Attendance, attendance points, and shift buy-backs.
• Utilize Smartlinx for posting and filling open shifts and messaging.
• Meet new employees to review schedules and onboarding needs.
• Provide direct patient care as required by licensure.
