Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BA/BS preferred.
• Knowledge of scheduling systems used in healthcare facilities.
• Excellent clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• PC and data entry experience; typing speed 40–45 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Generates accurate schedules for medical and ancillary staff.
• Distributes overtime assignments fairly.
• Ensures staffing aligns with the matr ix for each tour and day.
• Confirms schedules with facilities and posts for view by staff.
• Enforces scheduling policies.
• Supports multiple facilities or parallel schedules.
• Automatically reassigns staff to cover absences or demand increases.
• Answers phones and logs sick calls; pages staff as needed.
• Provides reports as needed.
• Performs other duties as required.
