The role requires organizing daily scheduling activities, coordinating with HR for attendance policies, and preparing payroll‑related reports while supporting a stable, compliant, and patient‑focused facility operation.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduler experience is required.
• CNA certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required unless an approved exemption is presented on hiring.

Responsibilities

• Create and post monthly staff schedules, track changes, and approve trades.
• Maintain records of call-offs, tardiness, and early arrivals; coordinate with HR on attendance policies.
• Provide timely reports to DON, Facility Administrator, and management on staffing issues and vacancies.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports in a timely manner.
• Verify employment data and backgrounds on job applicants.
