Job summary

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Scheduler to ensure nursing staffing aligns with budget and protocol. You will organize all nursing schedules, develop a master schedule, and post 2-4 weeks in advance while coordinating with leadership.

The role involves payroll updates in ADP, maintaining staffing sheets, and minimizing overtime with strong teamwork and scheduling acumen.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum one year clerical experience.
On-the-job scheduling training provided.
CNA preferred but not required.
English literacy (read/write/speak) required.
Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff and visitors.
Proficient with Word/Excel and basic computer skills.
Ability to adopt new methods into existing practices.

Responsibilities

Organize, prioritize, and coordinate all nursing staff schedules.
Develop and utilize a master schedule at all times.
Post staffing schedules 2-4 weeks in advance, minimum.
Identify staffing problems, take initiative to resolve, and communicate with DNS/Administrator.
Update and prepare payroll in ADP for Corporate Bookkeeper daily/weekly.
Maintain daily staffing sheets and DPH required staff sheet.
Seek opportunities to fill open positions minimizing overtime.
Develop positive relationships with nursing department members.
