The ideal candidate has previous scheduling experience in healthcare; CNA certification is preferred, and prior skilled nursing facility experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous scheduler experience required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes, and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated by the DON.
• Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardiness, and early arrivals. Coordinate daily with HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management on staffing issues, vacancies, agency use, and other topics as assigned.
• Prepare and submit accurate, complete payroll reports in a timely manner.
• Verify employment data and backgrounds on job applicants.
