Job summary

Jersey College is seeking qualified individuals to join our Nursing Program as faculty. The role focuses on preparing progress and grade reports, maintaining attendance records, and evaluating student competence according to program philosophy and clinical objectives.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree with teaching credits; a Master’s degree is preferred, and prior teaching experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school.
• Master degree is preferred.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency.
• Attending faculty meetings.
• Maintaining professional qualifications through continuing education, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.
