Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor evaluates student performance and guides professional development across campus settings.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least three years of clinical experience. Teaching experience is preferred; commitment to student success is essential.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional Registered Nurse experience.
• Clinical teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
