Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Nursing Operations Support (NOS) Representative to serve as a resource on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors, and family members. The role provides general information and way-finding, coordinates patient transport needs, and guides individuals to area accommodations or amenities.

The NOS Representative uses various software to support tasks, offers local area direction, and assists with unit operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months' experience in office, hospital, administrative duties, customer service, and computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Ability to reason, interpret, and evaluate situations to provide assistance and resolve issues.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource on multiple units for Mission Partners, patients, visitors and family for general questions, information and way-finding needs and provides unit support.
• Coordinates and may assist with patient transport needs and area accommodations or amenities.

Expected pay for this position is $18.27 - $20.29/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED Experience: 6 months' experience of office, hospital, administrative duties, customer service, and computer knowledge
