Job summary

OSF HealthCare’s Operating Room and Recovery Room teams are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care, care coordination across the continuum, and mentorship to teammates in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

This position requires current RN licensure in Illinois or Michigan, BLS certification, and preferred BSN, with experience in a healthcare setting; EMR and Microsoft Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan).
• BLS certification required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination across the continuum with providers and multidisciplinary care teams.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
There will be travel to Holy Family Medical Center (Monmouth, IL)
$8k-16k Sign-On Bonus
(New Grads: $8k, 1+ Years of Experience: $16k)

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan), Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
