Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an accomplished nursing leader to oversee Centralized Nursing Operations and drive key strategic initiatives across the health system. You will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and mentorship while coordinating with executive leaders to enhance patient care quality.

The role requires a minimum of three years of nursing experience and at least one year in inpatient nursing leadership, with a focus on staffing programs, education, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school.
• RN license in North Carolina (NC).
• BLS certification is required.
• Three (3) years of professional nursing in tertiary care and one (1) year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Patient care: ensure appropriate care and services and staffing across shifts.
• Human Resources: recruit, retain, and staff development; annual performance feedback.
• Budget management: use clinical and financial data to meet budgetary goals.
