Job summary

UNC Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) leader to provide strategic and operational oversight of inpatient Care Management services across UNC Hospitals. Responsibilities include leading patient-centered care initiatives, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve quality, throughput, and outcomes, and developing Care Management staff to achieve organizational goals.

This role is based at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in Care Management, including leadership.
• Strong collaborative leadership, communication, and change management skills.
• Ability to lead innovation in a fast-paced academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives focused on patient-centered care, throughput, capacity management, and operational excellence.
• Partner with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to advance quality, efficiency, and organizational goals.
• Lead, develop, and inspire Care Management staff to achieve team and organizational outcomes.
