Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating interdepartmental services, applying evidence-based practice, and guiding performance improvement and safety initiatives in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 24/7 responsibility for daily clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficiency.
• Maintains efficient department operations with staff, supplies and equipment.
• Establish staffing requirements and plan resource utilization based on patient load and acuity.
• Facilitates care delivery aligned with patient-centered philosophy.
• Utilizes evidence-based practice to improve processes and patient outcomes.
