North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a clinical assistant/associate professor in Nursing Leadership. The role centers on student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate courses, with opportunities for advising and curriculum development.

The position is 12-month, non-tenure-track, requiring a doctoral nursing degree and demonstrated pedagogical skills; NC licensure eligibility is also required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD).
• Demonstrated pedagogical skills to teach in areas relevant to nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered teaching and clinical instruction of undergraduate and graduate-level courses.
• Provide student advising, mentoring and recruitment.
• Engage in curriculum development, program assessment and accreditation-related procedures.
• Incorporate modern pedagogical skills in teaching nursing courses to undergraduate and graduate students.
• Supervise and support DNP student projects.
• Provide service to the School of Nursing, the college, the university and community or professional organizations.
