Job summary
North Carolina A&T State University’s School of Nursing seeks a clinical assistant/associate professor focused on Nursing Leadership. The role centers on student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate nursing.
The candidate will provide student advising, mentorship, recruitment, curriculum development, and involvement in program assessment and accreditation. This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track position with potential remote or hybrid arrangements where allowed.
Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience in baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs is required.
- Three years of clinical experience related to nursing leadership concepts.
- Demonstrates pedagogical skills to teach nursing leadership at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Current NC RN license or eligibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergrad and graduate nursing courses.
- Provide student advising, mentoring, and recruitment, and engage in curriculum development.
- Engage in program assessment and accreditation-related procedures.
- Contribute service to the School of Nursing, college, and university, and to professional organizations.
