The School of Nursing in the Hairston College of Health and Human Sciences at North Carolina A&T State University seeks an assistant/associate professor focused on Nursing Leadership. The primary purpose is to provide student-centered teaching and clinical instruction for undergraduate and graduate courses. Responsibilities include student advising, mentoring and recruitment, curriculum development, and engagement in program assessment and accreditation procedures. The ideal candidate will: (i) establish and sustain a strong externally funded research program; (ii) publish scholarly work; (iii) apply modern pedagogical methods in teaching nursing; (iv) teach community health and non-clinical nursing courses, advise/coach students, pursue scholarly work and funding, and provide service to the School of Nursing; and (v) provide service to the School, the college and university, plus relevant community and professional organizations. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position requiring a Ph.D.
Open with a remote or hybrid work arrangement may be considered consistent with university and state policies. North Carolina A&T employees are generally expected to reside in North Carolina within a defined commuting distance of the duty station.
