Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Instruction may include classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings, depending on campus needs.

The ideal candidate is a BSN or higher with an active RN license in Florida and at least 3 years of RN experience, committed to student success and professional development. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BSN or higher nursing degree.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence according to program standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress and grade reports.
• Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and campus events; maintain professional qualifications through CE and coursework.
