Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing education and courses being taught.
• Preferred: nursing education/teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and assess student performance.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain records.
• Attend required faculty meetings and maintain professional qualifications.
