The ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for education, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Florida or applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences taught.
• Knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment fostering academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence per program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and other staff.
