Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students at the Largo, FL campus. The role may include classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical teaching to develop professional nursing competencies.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN or higher, be a licensed RN in Florida, and have at least 3 years of RN experience with a passion for student success and a commitment to nursing education.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required (RN licensure may apply).
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence using established standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain current knowledge and expertise within the nursing specialty.

Education
