Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will evaluate student performance, guide professional development, and maintain accurate records in alignment with program standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, an active RN license, and at least 3 years of RN experience with teaching or mentorship experience.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience teaching LPN/PN and RN students preferred.
• Experience with learning management systems and educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students (LPN/PN and RN).
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence.
• Prepare progress reports and grade records; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration and clinical partners.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development.
