Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to train the next generation of nurses in our LVN program. The role requires RN or LVN licensure with the state board and availability for Saturday clinicals.

No prior teaching experience is required, and ongoing professional development is encouraged. Responsibilities include updating syllabi, delivering lectures and clinical rotations (days/evenings/weekends), maintaining student records, and participating in program committees.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state where teaching will occur.
• 3 years bedside experience with RN/BSN OR 6 years bedside experience with LVN/Associates Degree.
• Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support or ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Improve instruction quality by using varied teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and interactive learning.
• Review and revise syllabi for courses as needed to align with guidelines.
