Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach in the LVN program, with part-time evening shifts and Saturday clinicals. The role supports student nurses, updates syllabi, and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Evening schedule is Tue and Thu 5:30pm–11pm, Saturday 7am–7pm, with competitive pay. Applicants must hold current RN or LVN licensure in the applicable state, with BSN or higher preferred and ability to mentor students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LVN with current state licensure to teach.
• BSN or higher preferred; meeting state faculty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Improve instructional quality through diverse teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and learning.
• Review and revise syllabi within program guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice and safety regulations.
• Keep student attendance, grades and skill checklists up to date.
• Update student clinical files and immunization records as required.
• Teach courses and clinical rotations in flexible formats (days/evenings/weekends).
• Participate in professional development and CE hours to maintain licensure.
• Participate in committees as needed while balancing teaching duties.
