Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to advance nursing education through in-class, lab, and clinical instruction across flexible schedules. The role emphasizes applying current nursing practice, updating syllabi, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

You’ll mentor students, manage records, and contribute to program success. Qualifications include RN or LVN licensure in the applicable state, RN/BSN or LVN/Associates experience, and current immunizations with BLS.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state where teaching occurs.
• 3 years bedside RN/BSN experience.
• 6 years bedside LVN/Associates degree experience.
• Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification.
• Proven ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality of instruction by reviewing and using innovative teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and learning.
• Review and revise syllabus for specific courses.
• Submit required program reports to the Director on time.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice and safety regulations.
• Keep student records: attendance, grades, and skill check-off forms.
