Job summary

Unitek College of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach in the LVN program on campus. The role involves delivering lectures and supervising clinical rotations, with availability on Saturdays for clinicals and flexible teaching times across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate holds an RN or LVN license and meets board requirements; prior teaching experience is not required. The position offers a part-time schedule with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state you are applying to teach.
• 3 years bedside RN/BSN or 6 years bedside LVN/Associates Degree required.
• Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification or ACLS

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update student attendance, grades and skill check-off forms.
• Teach LVN courses and supervise clinical rotations at scheduled times.
• Review and revise syllabus to align with program guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director promptly.
• Participate in professional development and committee activities as needed
