Job summary

Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach in our LVN program. This part-time position requires evening shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-11pm and Saturday clinicals from 7am-7pm.

No prior teaching experience is required, and you will teach in our LVN program while maintaining student records, updating syllabi and supporting clinical instruction. This is an on-campus role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensure in the applicable state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Knowledge of nursing practice and safety regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve instructional quality by applying diverse teaching methods.
• Utilize online activities to enhance course content and interaction.
• Review and revise syllabus within program guidelines.
• Submit program reports to the Director promptly.
• Stay current with nursing technologies and safety regulations.
• Maintain student records and progress data on deadlines.
• Update clinical requirements and immunization records as needed.
• Teach courses across various times and locations as needed.
• Lead or participate in professional development and committees.
