Unitek College Of Nursing is seeking a Full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. The role involves teaching both lectures and clinical rotations, with visits to clinical sites to supervise and mentor students.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN or LVN licensure
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
• Able to meet Board of Vocational Nursing faculty requirements
• 3 years nursing experience with BSN or 6 years with ADN
• Current immunizations and BLS certification
• Willing to obtain ATI Certification within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and clinical rotations at various times/locations
• Visit clinical sites and supervise student performance
• Review and revise course syllabi as required
• Submit program reports to the Director in a timely manner
• Maintain student records and program data per deadlines
• Participate in professional development and CE hours
• Contribute to committees as assigned
