Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. Responsibilities include classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical teaching, with evaluation of student performance and competency.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with an MSN or higher, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
