Job summary

Jersey College in the United States seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher and an active RN license, with at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Strong communication, assessment, and mentoring skills are essential to support student success.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences.
• Prior nursing education or teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment; evaluate student performance and competency.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, clinical partners, and participate in required meetings.
